Biography

Currently, I’m a postdoctoral researcher in the Creatis Medical Imaging Research Center. Prior to this, I held a postdoctoral position at Gispa-lab, Université Grenoble Alpes. I obtained my PhD in applied mathematics as part of a cotutelle between Universidad de Chile and Sorbonne Université, Laboratoire Jacques Louis-Lions. My advisor in Chile was Héctor Ramírez C. and in France Pierre Martinon along with Mario Sigalotti. The title of my doctoral thesis is Application of optimal control techniques to natural systems management.

Education Projects

Since 2015, I have sporadically collaborated with the Education Laboratory of the Center for Mathematical Modeling in Chile (https://cmmedu.uchile.cl/) on projects aimed at enhancing the mathematical skills of students and teachers through the development of programs and resources.

MatCon aims to offer interactive and innovative educational resources that empower teachers to manage mathematics teaching that addresses the motivations and concerns of children and young people, helping them to make sense of relevant problems and become involved in their solutions.

Professional development program for teachers focused on strengthening mathematical knowledge for teaching, which seeks to enhance mathematical competencies and skills to conduct effective teaching and learning processes. It is taught in e-learning and b-learning mode.
